Your Average Blog...?

All right, so most people who are following THIS, are probably followers of my poetry blog. Expecting more songs? Possibly. Expecting more thoughts? Absolutely. This will not be "the average blog". I plan to put thought into every single post I type out on my short, number-pad-less keyboard. It will be creative, but left without stanzas. Instead, we will use the wonderful writing tool called indentation. Also see: PARAGRAPHS.

Pretty simple, eh?

What inspired me was watching other people write their thoughts. I've realized that, as creative as it is to express in poems and songs, not everyone gets it. And besides, people can express themselves freely in a block of lettering as opposed to several separated lines. I find paragraphs very neat, and useful. Probably the greatest invention of all. How else do you think J.K. Rowling or J.R.R. Tolkein made all of that money, with movies and fanbases and all?

Can you even imagine Harry Potter as a poem?

Moving on...

I'm not looking for attention. I feel a creative need that I must insist on satisfying. Could this phase die out? It's possible. Until then, expect the unexpected. Adventures. Tales from the deep (of the city, anyway). Stories from beyond (in which, I discuss the ominous glare from the snow on the third floor of my school, as well as a view of the Bay and landfill). Folklore that isn't folklore and legends that I can only nod at (especially after a trip to the psychiatric ward twenty minutes away). Oh, and you can't forget the sprinkles. You'll need those. ;)

Please prepare yourselves. It's gonna be an incredibly bumpy ride between fights, tears, smiles, cackles, and late night blog entires to the sound of Disney Channel in the darkness of nearly three in the morning light. Of course, it's all old shows that aren't frightening slash creepy slash terrible slash fake. Blegh. The fluffy pop of Disney now is disgusting. I'm much more a fan of Sorcerer Mickey and Ariel in The Little Mermaid. Of course, Phineas and Ferb isn't all that bad. But we're not here to talk about Disney. Not at all.

Over the next few months, I'm planning a new life of adulthood. It may sound ridiculous coming from a sixteen year-old high school student, but I really do want to grow. Maybe change. There are some bad habits I'd like to drop, and some healthier habits I'd love to pick up on. I want to make friends. I want to make people happy. I want to be a better person. However, we could discuss that in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT entry. Right now, my head isn't clear. It's best not to set goals aloud now. It's much too stressful.

In other news: A very happy nineteenth birthday to Frankie Parker: my love, my world, the light of my life. May another year pass wonderfully with lots of smiles and time well spent. It's his birthday his time now, although I made him a birthday video about three hours ago. Still, I digress. I suppose it's back to the webcam for a quick moment at midnight.

Goodnight all.

Love,
Maura Lee Bee
